Appointment Scheduling
Scheduling appointments is a very important concern in an orthodontic practice since the majority of patients are students. It requires achieving a balance between running an efficient practice that delivers quality treatment and trying to limit the amount of time that students must miss from school. Orthodontic treatment involves many appointments scheduled every six to 12 weeks over an extended period of time. It is not possible to see every patient after school for every appointment.
Short adjustment appointments and retainer checks are scheduled throughout the day, but, primarily between 7:30am — 8:30am and 3:00pm — 5:00pm. Long appointments are scheduled during school time.
By scheduling the infrequent longer appointments during school time we can keep the before and after school hours open for the more frequent, shorter appointments. We have developed an appointment system that we feel is fair to all patients and allows efficient delivery of quality care. By being consistent with scheduling policies, all patients benefit over the full course of treatment and are treated equally. We do our best to accommodate individual schedules; however, there may be a wait if specific appointment times are required or requested.
Arriving on Time for Appointments
Our office has an “On Time Policy”. This policy respects the time of our patients and their parents by seeing patients at their appointed time. Arrival of patients after their scheduled time reduces the efficiency of the office. When patients arrive too late for their procedure to be completed, their appointment may be rescheduled so there is no infringement on the next patient’s appointment time.
Inclement Weather
Please call the office if you are not coming due to inclement weather so that we may adjust our schedule. If you are unsure if the office is open, please call and we will either answer or a tape will advise when the office will reopen. Safety is our main concern and there is no charge or penalty for rescheduling an appointment—EVER.
Illness
When a patient is ill, we ask that you reschedule their appointment. Please wait 24 hours after beginning a course of antibiotics before scheduling an appointment. We need to stay well so that we may serve you. Thanks for your understanding.
Financial
At Anzilotti Orthodontics, our goal is to offer excellent affordable orthodontic treatment that fits your budget! We offer an assortment of payment solutions to meet your needs. Please ask us about financing options, credit card payments and bank-drafts. We pledge to thoroughly explain your options so we can accommodate your needs.
We will assist in filing your insurance claims and will coordinate your benefits with your payment plan.
